What is a baseline Ultrasound?

Estradiol (E2) is a form of estrogen hormone that plays an important role in the menstrual cycle, ovulation, and reproductive health. An estradiol blood test measures E2 levels and is commonly used as part of a fertility evaluation to assess ovarian function and monitor follicle development during fertility treatment. Estradiol levels can vary throughout the menstrual cycle, so results are interpreted alongside other fertility tests, such as FSH, AMH, and ultrasound findings, to help your fertility specialist evaluate your reproductive health.
